The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a set of new EU personal data privacy laws that apply to anyone processing personal data of EU citizens regardless of where in the world these processing activities take place.
At CO-SENDER we have been hard at work to be GDPR compliant ourselves, as well as to help our users to stay GDPR compliant in the easiest way possible.
One of the main new GDPR requirements is the right of access – an individual has the right to know what data about him/her is being used and how. This means that your Subscriber can contact you and request such information. If this happens, simply copy your Subscribers’s information from the subscriber list, export Subscriber’s participation data to a CSV file, and provide this data to your Subscriber.
EU citizens now also have the right to be forgotten – a person may request that you delete all the data on that particular individual, including not only his/her personal information but also all his/her campaign participation data. So if a Subscriber contacts you with such a request, simply forward this request to us and we will remove this Subscriber’s data from your account. Note that your Subscriber can also send a valid request directly to us. In this case, we will inform you about such request and will delete the Subscriber’s personal data from your Account.
